  8. All software applications, including those driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), must be pre-approved by the your school board before they are used within the district. It is your responsibility to ensure that My Report and any related AI tools are approved for use by checking the Approved Software and Websites list available on StaffHub. The use of unapproved software applications for generating report card comments is strictly prohibited.

  10. Protecting the privacy and securing the personal information of staff and students is paramount. Users must adhere to My Report's data privacy and security protocols to safeguard all data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and destruction.

  11. Prohibited Uses
  12. Using unapproved software applications or AI tools in violation of these terms can result in significant privacy and security risks. Such uses are strictly forbidden and may result in disciplinary action, termination of your account, legal action, and other penalties.

  13. Data Retention and Use
  14. Data retention, use, and breach response protocols are established by My Report in compliance with applicable laws and school board guidelines to ensure that users' information is managed responsibly and ethically.

  15. Amendments and Modifications
  16. My Report reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. All amendments will be posted on the platform and effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the platform after any amendments constitutes your agreement to abide by the modified Terms of Use.

  17. Termination
  18. My Report may terminate your access to the platform, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of the Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

  20. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which your board operates, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that Province or location.
